An automotive parts distributor in Brendale called us about a recurring problem. Their warehouse floor markings in the external hardstand yard were failing every summer. Standard thermoplastic, applied correctly, by a reputable contractor. Failing anyway. Vehicles were tracking the softened product across the yard by February each year.

The problem was product specification. Standard thermoplastic softens at around 45 degrees Celsius. Brendale hardstand surfaces in January reach 55-60 degrees. It's not a mystery — it's physics. We replaced the failed sections with Grade A thermoplastic rated to 60 degrees. Two summers later, those markings are still sharp.

Brendale is Brisbane's northern industrial anchor — 25km north of the CBD on the Bruce Highway, home to automotive distribution, manufacturing, engineering, and light logistics. The Lawnton, Kremzow Road, and South Pine Road corridors have grown significantly over the past decade. Summer temperatures in metal-roofed warehouses can exceed 45 degrees inside, which creates product selection challenges for internal markings too.

We've been marking Brendale automotive and manufacturing facilities since 2009. TMR Queensland approved. Grade A thermoplastic mandatory for all external Brendale surfaces — we won't quote standard product for exposed hardstand yards regardless of what a client asks for.
