Gosford Hospital's emergency and visitor carparks needed remarking during their major expansion. The challenge was maintaining parking access during construction while progressively remarking completed sections. Some areas were still under construction while others needed to be operational immediately. Patient access and ambulance routes could not be compromised at any stage.

We embedded with their construction team from day one, attending weekly site meetings and coordinating directly with project managers. As each section of carpark was completed, we marked it within 48 hours so it could open for use. This included accessible parking bays compliant with AS/NZS 2890.6, ambulance zones, drop-off areas, and directional arrows guiding visitors through the evolving layout.

We worked in stages over four months, always coordinating with the builders' schedule and adapting to unexpected delays. Night shifts were common to avoid disrupting daytime hospital operations. Our team used fast-curing paints suitable for quick turnaround, allowing vehicles within hours of application.

The hospital never lost parking capacity during the expansion because we kept pace with construction. Staff, visitors, and emergency vehicles maintained full access throughout.
