A distribution centre in Kewdale called us after a forklift near-miss incident. Their 14,000 square metre facility had grown over twelve years with no consistent marking system. Forklifts and pedestrians shared the same paths in three sections of the warehouse. The safety manager had flagged it internally for months. The near-miss pushed it to the top of the priority list.

We assessed the full facility, mapped every conflict zone, and designed a complete traffic management system. Yellow forklift lanes throughout, white pedestrian walkways with hatched separation zones at every crossing, stop lines at each aisle intersection. Completed over two weekends to keep operations running. The facility passed their next WorkSafe WA inspection with zero recommendations.

Kewdale sits alongside Welshpool on the Great Eastern Highway corridor — Perth's densest industrial belt between the city and the airport. Manufacturing, food processing, logistics, automotive. The suburb has one of the highest concentrations of distribution centres in Perth, which means high forklift traffic intensity, and high demand for markings that actually hold up.
