The main road marking specifications by state

Each state has its own road marking specification. Victoria uses VicRoads Section 721, Queensland uses TMR MRTS45, and Western Australia uses Main Roads WA Specification 604. TfNSW in New South Wales and DIT in South Australia set their own requirements too. Under all of them, road paint is made to AS 4049 (AS 4049.3 for waterborne paint) and glass beads to AS/NZS 2009, with line layouts drawn from AS 1742.2:2022.
