Why Gold Coast Multi-Sport Court Marking?
A Gold Coast primary school needed their main outdoor court marked for four different sports: basketball, netball, volleyball, and handball. The previous marking attempt by a local painter resulted in confusing overlapping lines that made every sport difficult to play.
We designed a colour-coded system where each sport has its own distinct colour. Basketball in blue, netball in white, volleyball in yellow, handball in red. The layout was planned so all sports fit correctly without visual confusion.
Multi-sport courts require careful planning before any paint touches the surface. Sport dimensions must fit the available space, colours must contrast clearly, and the layout must make sense for users. We plan thoroughly, provide diagrams for approval, then execute precisely.

Typically 3-4 sports depending on court size and sport combinations. Basketball and netball overlay well. Adding volleyball and futsal is usually possible.
Distinct colours for each sport are essential. We use high-contrast colour combinations and plan layouts so lines do not overlap confusingly.
Same principle, different paint system. Indoor courts use gymnasium-grade finishes that bond appropriately to timber or synthetic flooring.
Yes, if the existing surface and markings are in reasonable condition. We assess whether overlay is appropriate or whether removal and full remarking is better value.
